Jodi Hays is a multi-media
artist who was born in Arkansas. She studied Foundations
at School of Visual Arts. At SVA she was awarded
the Silas H. Rhoades Scholarship and was the inaugural
class valedictorian. In 1996, Jodi continued her
studies at the University of Tennessse in Knoxville,
where she recieved a Book Award Scholarship and
a Bachelors of Fine Art in Drawing. Her work has
been shown at Barbara Krakow Gallery, Bernard Toale--Boston
Drawing Project, Vermont College and Gordon College.
She was the Assistant Director at the Cambridge
Art Association while making work in Boston. She
lives in Nashville and pursues image-making through
video, printing, painting, drawing, installtion,
and interviewing (and longs to be a honky tonk goddess).
