I graduated from Vermont College of Norwich
University in February, 2002 on my birthday. While conceiving
and executing "The Anchor Project," my piece for our
graduation exhibition, I fell in love with other people's snapshots
and have continued to amass (mostly from eBay) and work with
them ever since. Orphaned photographs, taken by unknown photographers,
are rich and fascinating in their representations of our shared
humanity. I believe these kinds of images remind us of how we
are to one another. These three jpgs are examples of recent
work from some of the series I've created.
