Tricia McInroy has worked as a photojournalist for more than ten years publishing a variety of photos in newspapers, magazines and books. Her video work has been screened at film festivals in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and New York. She lives Albuquerque, New Mexico where she is completing her year as an AmeriCorps Volunteer. This fall she will be teaching photography at a media arts charter school and continuing to volunteer as a photography instructor for incarcerated youth.

The piece "inorganic transmissions” functions as a conversation that is not taking place. In it, elements of natural disintegration attempt to engage with the artificial and man-made in a childlike dance. This piece mocks the advances of technology, which claim to improve connections, but often hinder our ability to interact with one another.
